Who we are
From a home in Cuba to clinics across Florida.
Yai's story begins in Cuba, the place where she was born and where, without realizing it, she first began to discover her true calling.
From a very young age, she felt a natural connection to design. She grew up in a deeply loving family with limited financial resources, and it was within her own home that she first began transforming the ordinary. With creativity, sensitivity, and very little, she found ways to reimagine spaces, rearrange what was available, and turn simple surroundings into something beautiful and meaningful.
At the time, Yai had no idea that those small transformations were already shaping her path toward becoming an interior designer.
As the years passed, that instinctive love for transforming spaces became a true passion. She studied Interior Design at Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic, an experience that brought her closer to the dream she had carried for years and confirmed that design was more than a profession for her. It was a way to express emotion, tell stories, and transform the way people experience a space.
Later, Yai moved to the United States, where a new chapter of her professional journey began. She started working alongside bold, original, and forward-thinking dental professionals who were ready to reimagine their practices and create environments that felt elevated, distinctive, and deeply connected to their vision.
With every project, a new door opened.
What began with dental spaces naturally expanded into residential interiors and other environments, allowing Yai to accompany her clients not only in transforming their businesses, but also their homes. That close relationship between designer and client became an essential part of her work: listening to a vision, understanding a story, and translating it into a space that truly reflects the people behind it.
Today, through Nature Violet Art, Yai creates interiors that seek to push the boundaries of design by bringing together sensitivity, functionality, and a deeply personal point of view.
Her creative language moves between contemporary, modern, and minimalist design, while drawing constant inspiration from the abundant beauty of nature. The depth of natural stone, the warmth of wood, the imperfections of texture, organic forms, and soulful materials all become essential elements in her compositions.
For Yai, a space should never feel empty of meaning. Every material, every object, and every detail should contribute to the story.
Because the most remarkable spaces are not simply the ones that look beautiful, but the ones that have soul, evoke emotion, and tell a story of their own.
